Akim of Ulytau region Dastan Ryspekov got acquainted with the beginning of the heating season in Zhezkazgan. Currently, 4 boilers are operating at the thermal power plant. The fifth boiler will be put into operation on October 15, and the sixth on November 1 due to lower temperatures. The seventh boiler is scheduled to be launched at the end of December according to the schedule.
The head of the region was also informed that due to weather conditions, heat is supplied to the city with a temperature of 55-65 degrees. In addition, due to the early completion of repairs planned until 2025, flushing works are being carried out on heating main No. 11. Water may contain an increased amount of iron, but this will return to normal after 2-3 days.
It is worth noting that the Zhezkazgan thermal power plant is provided with the necessary reserves of coal and fuel oil.
