Pensioners from the Active Longevity Center of the Saryarka district in Astana met with college students, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.

A joint event was held between students and retirees at the College of Management, Business and Education on the theme "Your profession is your future!". The event, organized to encourage young people to work, was timed to coincide with the "Year of Working Professions."

At the event, artisans from the Saryarka district showed their handmade products. The exhibition organized by the occupational therapy circle included paintings, national hats, knitted clothes, and products with national patterns.

The center's seamstresses and cooks told the students about their careers and shared their experiences. They wished the female students to become masters of their professions.

At the end of the meeting, representatives of both generations presented their art. Artistic youth and retirees sang, danced, and played musical instruments. The "Kerbez_models" group, formed by fashionable grandmothers of the Saryarka district, presented a defile from a collection of national costumes. In addition, the waltz dance performed by the "Elegend-Dance" dance group of dancing grandparents amazed the young people.

At the end of the event, the college administration thanked the retirees and presented them with memorable gifts.

The meeting provided students with an opportunity to meet with experienced professionals and receive useful information about their future professions.
