The XIV Winter Spartakiad of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan has ended in Karaganda. During the two-day competition, participants demonstrated strength, endurance, team spirit and the desire for victory.
Tug-of-war and volleyball competitions were held as part of the Spartakiad. According to the results of the competitive competition, the team of the Department of Emergency Situations of Astana became the winner of the tug-of-war. The second place was taken by the team of the Department of Emergency Situations of East Kazakhstan region. The third place was taken by the team of the Ulytau region.
A volleyball tournament was held on the second day of the Spartakiad. Each team strived for victory, showing technical and dynamic play. As a result, the team of the Department of Emergency Situations of Astana city became the winner of the volleyball tournament, the second place was taken by the team of the Department of Emergency Situations of East Kazakhstan region, and the third place was taken by the team of the Department of Emergency Situations of Aktobe region.
Azat Bektasov of the Department of Emergency Situations of North Kazakhstan region won the “Best Libero” nomination, and Askhat Kanatbekov of the Department of Emergency Situations of East Kazakhstan region won the “Best Player” title.
The solemn closing of the Spartakiad was held at the “Zhastar” sports complex. Congratulating the participants on their achievements, the winners and prize-winners were awarded with well-deserved medals and cups.
