The Kazakhstani low-cost carrier FlyArystan will launch a regular direct flight from Karaganda airport to Istanbul from June 4 of this year. Flights will be operated twice a week - on Wednesdays and Fridays.
– The Karaganda agglomeration has a population of 870,000. These are more than 30 cities and towns located near the regional center. Our residents have a need to travel abroad, and getting there through other airports is very inconvenient. Karaganda Airport is an international airport, which means that it can, in partnership with airlines, connect us with major hubs such as Istanbul, Dubai, Beijing, Shanghai. I am sure that this is just the beginning of the great work ahead of us, - said Erlan Ospanov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Karaganda Airport.
