Akim of Karaganda region Yermaganbet Bulekpayev continues to meet with labor collectives.
The head of the region, together with the akim of Karaganda city, heads of regional departments and agencies, visited the Karaganda Nan factory.
Employees asked their questions regarding the development and improvement of the city.
- We hold such meetings specifically to share your plans for the future at workplaces, to listen to your suggestions and opinions. Your enterprises are important: you provide the population with social bread. About a thousand people work at the factory. Products that are in demand in our country are exported, - said Yermaganbet Bulekpayev. - In general, the city is developing, as you can see. There are problematic issues, but the city's economy is stable. Last year, we launched large projects, especially these are residential buildings, schools. Gasification is being actively carried out. We are implementing a number of large industrial projects. We are engaged in urban development, this year we will focus on the development of Southeast and Maykudyk.
The participants of the meeting were interested in future plans for gasification: will enterprises be able to switch to blue fuel in the future? This will allow us to improve the environment. Currently, the private sector has priority, but in the future, natural gas will also be allocated for the needs of enterprises.
In addition, the launch of the third heat pipeline will solve the shortage of heat capacity.
The employees asked to send a bus route to the enterprise district, taking into account the development of Southeast. Options for solving the problem are being considered.
The housing issue remains relevant. At the meeting, Bauyrzhan Zhuasbayev, director of the Otbasy Bank branch, spoke about special mortgage programs for working professions.
He invited the enterprise management to participate in a preferential mortgage program to improve the housing conditions of its employees.
The issues of medical care were raised. The head of the Health Department, Bibigul Tulegenova, suggested organizing the visit of specialists to the enterprise to conduct screenings and professional examinations.
- Considering that the team is mainly women, this is very relevant. There may be a three-day social leave for screening examinations. Perhaps, few people use it. It is easy for us to come ourselves - it is a step forward for you, - said Bibigul Tulegenova.
The head of the Department for Coordination of Employment and Social Programs, Toleu Mukhtar, spoke about the support of working professions and employment opportunities. There are about three thousand vacancies in the region.
There are also state-subsidized jobs in Career Centers. In Karaganda, about half of the able-bodied population is engaged in working professions. About 146 thousand residents have been employed in small and medium-sized businesses.
