The Alikhan Bokeikhan district of Karaganda is facing another change this year.
Under the “Improvement and Greening of Settlements” program, 20 courtyards will be renovated, access roads will be asphalted, two sports and three children's playgrounds will be installed.
Also, the cemetery near the Kostenko mine will be fenced off and unauthorized garbage dumps will be collected. Special attention will be paid to remote microdistricts.
In Maykuduk, 10 courtyards will be renovated and two sports fields will appear (in the 13th microdistrict - near houses 10, 11, 12 and in the 17th microdistrict - near houses 40), as well as a flower garden will be renovated in the 14th microdistrict. The entrances to the flower gardens on Staleliteynaya Street and T. Kuzembayev Street in the Alikhan Bokeikhan district will be put in order. An additional 10 thousand square meters of sidewalks will be built, 6 thousand of which will be in Maykuduk.
The medium-term repair work will cover Biryuzov Street (from Mailin Street to Magnitogorskaya, including the inner road in the 16th microdistrict), the road to the KazMetiz industrial zone, as well as the section from Karl Marx Street to school No. 77.
At the request of residents, asphalt will be laid on the streets of the private sector in the Shakhter microdistrict, Sakhalin and Kuryanovka villages.
Last year, 24 projects were implemented under the "Budget with People's Participation", this year their number will be twice as much - 43.
– Special attention will be paid to the quality of play elements and materials used: if earlier they were plastic, now playgrounds and simulators are made of wood and metal. In addition, instead of artificial grass, tartan flooring will be used, - said the district akim Dosbol Kulekeev.
Residents also want to see football and universal mini-fields, workout areas and basketball courts in the district.
As Dosbol Kulekeev noted, this year there are many projects for the improvement of public spaces, including the improvement of nine flower gardens, the construction of pedestrian paths on three streets and the installation of street lighting. For example, residents of Zelinsky Street proposed the elimination of unauthorized garbage dumps and the installation of garbage containers at the Tikhonov cemetery. In general, according to the akim, Prishakhtinsk has begun to actively participate in the implementation of the “Budget with People's Participation” project. This year it is planned to open 28 new facilities. In addition, 170 applications were submitted for participation in the program next year.
As for public space, many residents of Maykuduk noticed that the light rings had been removed from the park in the 14th microdistrict. They did not disappear without a trace. A large-scale reconstruction is planned there.
– 2.4 thousand square meters of curbstones will be laid, new benches, garbage cans will be installed, and lighting will be installed. The rings will be moved to another place. In a few years, we will plant trees there to create a shady area, - said the district akim.
Also, this year, a contract will be re-signed for the construction of a skate park in this 14th microdistrict. The previous contractor was unable to complete the work, and now a new competition will be held. According to the district akim, the project will be completed.
This year, the construction of children's and sports grounds, lighting, repair of bus stop pavilions, benches, etc. will continue.
