The three-day republican "Assembly Youth" camp - "ETHNO WINTER CAMP" was held at the "Sinegorye" recreation center in the city of Ridder. This event provided an opportunity for activists and volunteers from all over the country to exchange experiences and gain new knowledge.
Activists of the "Assembly Youth" organization from the cities of Almaty, Shymkent and Almaty, Atyrau, Zhambyl, Karaganda, Turkestan, Kostanay, East Kazakhstan and Abay regions participated in the camp.
This year's meeting was timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and Thanksgiving Day. For three days, participants actively participated in educational and entertainment programs.
- The camp is especially impressive. Trainings on teamwork, lessons on the development of oratory, interesting master classes - all this was organized in the picturesque place of East Kazakhstan, at the "Sinegorye" recreation center! I met many talented young people. We shared our experience in organizing environmental, patriotic, and charitable events in the regions and were inspired by new ideas. I believe that these meetings will continue! - said Aziza Ismanova, a member of the "Assembly Youth" from Zhambyl region.
The main part of the meetings and interactive trainings was devoted to the prevention of drug addiction, alcoholism, and gambling addiction. Experienced psychologist-trainers advised young people on how to avoid harmful habits and how to help addicted people.
Also, successful entrepreneur Mikhail Lunev held a practical seminar on opening a business for young participants and presented literature that will help develop entrepreneurial skills.
One of the main guests of the camp was Daniel James, a domestic actor, activist of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, dombra player and poet.
The closing ceremony of the camp was attended by the Head of the Internal Policy Department Yernur Burakhan and the Deputy Akim of the city of Ridder Kanybek Toleukhanov, who answered the questions of the youth about ecology, tourism development and other important issues.
This event was an important step towards uniting young people, developing new initiatives and strengthening national unity.
