The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Nysanbayev, held a meeting with residents of the Akmola region and representatives of non-profit organizations in the city of Kokshetau.
During the meeting with residents of the region, special attention was paid to the issues of ecology, development of environmental culture, forestry, processing of solid household waste, etc.
The head of the department noted that one of the main aspects is the establishment of an automated system for monitoring the emission of harmful substances into the atmosphere. Such systems are being installed at 5 large enterprises of the region, and 2 have been installed (Kokshe-Cement LLP, Stepnogor ZEO LLP).
535 illegal landfills have been identified in the region, all of which have been eliminated.
In addition, it is planned to implement a pilot project on the construction of a solid waste sorting complex in the Shchuchye-Burabay resort area by Eco-Dump LLP.
In general, the environmental situation in the Akmola region is stable.
Regarding the development of the region's forestry, the Minister noted that in 2021-2024, a total of 1 billion 150 million seedlings were planted across the republic, including 77.1 million seedlings in the Akmola region.
In addition, the construction of a forest seed complex for growing planting material with a closed root system is planned in the Akmola region. 3.5 billion will be allocated for this project. tenge was provided.
