During a working trip to the district, the regional akim visited a Kazakh secondary school located in the village of Kobda.
The educational institution is one of the pillar schools. It was built in 2008. Last year, the educational institution was renovated for 98.3 million tenge.
According to the school principal Saniya Srymova, as part of a pilot project to develop the potential of small rural schools in the region, the institution was equipped with modern universal classrooms using digital technologies. The funds were allocated from the "People of Kazakhstan" fund. These modernizations allowed to significantly improve the educational process.
The school is located in a two-story typical building with 24 classrooms equipped with modern technical equipment. There are special workshops for students - a sewing class for girls and a metal and woodworking workshop for boys. In addition, a STEM laboratory was opened, which allows teenagers to develop their knowledge and skills in the field of science. Thanks to modern technologies, robotics began to be taught at the school. Also, a sensory room was opened here for students with special needs, and an inclusive education process was introduced.
The regional governor, who visited the classrooms, talked to the children about the possibilities of artificial intelligence. He said that it is important for school-age children to get acquainted with innovations such as artificial intelligence, which will greatly contribute to the development of their critical thinking and creative abilities, and added that the school where they study has all the opportunities for this.
"In accordance with the instructions of the Head of State, new technologies are being introduced in rural schools and the infrastructure is being improved as much as possible. The most favorable conditions for education are being created. Modern equipment of educational institutions, especially in rural areas, plays a decisive role in developing their potential. We will continue to modernize schools in order to provide every child with access to quality education and provide them with ample opportunities for their full development," the regional head said.
