Marat Erzhigituly is a professional with 46 years of experience, 23 of which he devoted to water management.
He began his career in 1974 as a technician at the Kyzylorda branch of the "Soyuzgiproris" Institute.
In 1982, he graduated from the Zhambyl Hydro-Melioration and Construction Institute and worked for about 10 years as a foreman, foreman, and senior foreman at the "Kyzylordavodstroy" trust.
In 1987–1990, he led the work on bringing arable land into an engineering system at the PMK-29 organization, at institutions in the Zhanakorgan-Shieli rice massif, and at the "Amangeldy" state farm in the Syrdarya district.
1990 Since 2011, an employee who has contributed to the excavation of the Saryshiganak Canal at the initiative of the Aral Sea Saving Fund, and the construction of the Aral-Sarybulak water pipeline pumping station to the villages of Kambash and Raiym.
Marat Erzhigituly has worked tirelessly in the field of water management for many years, has made an invaluable contribution to the development of the industry, has achieved high results in the effective management of water resources and the improvement of engineering systems. He is a reputable specialist with significant achievements, deep knowledge, and a thorough knowledge of the industry.
In 2020, he was awarded the "Water Management Excellence Badge" from the Kazakhstan Water Management Association, in 2022, the "Water Management Veteran" badge, and the "For Contribution to Saving the Aral Sea" badge of the Executive Directorate of the International Aral Sea Saving Fund in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2024, he was awarded the "Water Management Veteran" badge of the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation.
