In the Zhambyl region, educational events were held within the framework of the Day of Thanksgiving and the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.
The event, which began in the "House of Friendship", was attended by the akim of the Zhambyl region, Yerbol Karashukeyev, chairmen of the veterans' council, maslikhat and party, rectors of universities, veterans and members of the AKP, and representatives of ethnocultural associations.
Representatives of ethnic groups warmly welcomed the guests and offered a taste of taikazan.
This was followed by the unveiling of the memorial plaque "30 years of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan" and a presentation of the archival documents platform.
At the event, the akim of the region read a congratulatory letter from the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The regional akim presented awards to members of the AKP on the occasion of the anniversary.
In accordance with the Decree of the Head of State, the director of the Zhambyl regional branch of the Turkish ethnocultural center "Akhyska" Makhmutjon Davrishev was awarded the "Kurmet" order, the foreman of the Korday district "Korday Su" enterprise Kazakhbai Kokishev and the mechanic of the housing and communal enterprise of the Korday district akimat Serik Zhekebekov were awarded the "Eren enbegi ushin" medal.
Abiirbek Tynali, an artist of the regional drama theater named after A. Tokpanov, and Vladimir Bondarenko, the head of the "Transfer" farm, were awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Zhambyl region".
In addition, a number of citizens were awarded the "Zhomart zhan" badge of the AKP, the badge for merits to the region, a certificate of honor and a letter of gratitude from the head of the region.
After that The chairman of the Ukrainian ethnocultural association "Dnepro" Feodor Klimenko and the deputy chairman of the Kazakh cultural center "Aulie Ata" Aigul Kabiyeva made speeches and expressed their warm wishes.
The solemn event was followed by a concert program by members of the ANC and the Zhambyl Regional Philharmonic named after K. Azirbayev. The artists performed national songs and dances of representatives of the nation and ethnic group, giving the audience a good mood.
On this day, food baskets worth 16 million tenge were distributed to 800 low-income families as part of the "Caravan of Charity" campaign.
In addition, representatives of the ethnic group laid wreaths at the monument "A Thousand Thanks to the Kazakh People".
The exposition "30 Years of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan on the Path of Unity and Consensus" dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the ANC was solemnly opened at the regional museum of local history and local lore.
