Akim of Abay region Berik Uali visited several socially significant facilities in the city of Ayagoz during his working trip to the Ayagoz district.
The head of the region saw the construction of a school being built under the "Cozy School" program. The 600-seat educational institution in the "Kuanysh" microdistrict of Ayagoz is scheduled to be completed in August this year. However, representatives of Samruk Kazyna Construction JSC, the customer of the facility, informed the regional akim that the contractor may not be able to meet this deadline. This is because the number of workers at the facility is small.
"I instruct the contractor to increase the pace of work and increase the number of workers. The school must be completed by the new academic year,” said the head of the region.
The regional akim also got acquainted with the housing construction in the city of Ayagoz. Currently, two five-story, 60-apartment residential buildings are being built in the city. Shelters will be provided to participants of the mortgage program and those on the waiting list. Today, 1,500 people are on the housing waitlist in the Ayagoz district. The head of the region noted that it is necessary to complete the construction of housing on time and pay special attention to its quality.
The regional akim also visited the construction of a 10-bed intensive care unit under construction near the inter-district central hospital in the city of Ayagoz. Funds were allocated from the republican budget for the construction of the facility as part of the program for the modernization of medical institutions. The head physician of the hospital told the regional head that there was a shortage of 7 doctors and asked for assistance in solving the personnel problem.
“Ayagoz is one of the largest districts in the region. The population in the district center is increasing. The local akimat, together with the Department of Health, must solve the problem of personnel shortage. "Special attention should be paid to providing young professionals with housing," the regional head said.
During his working trip, the regional akim also visited the Children and Youth Sports School in the city. Currently, the building requires current repairs. The regional head instructed the Sports Department to develop an appropriate proposal for the modernization of the facility.
