On Thanksgiving Day, the National Military-Patriotic Center of the Armed Forces in Astana organized a concert and exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
The event, which took place in one of the shopping and entertainment centers of the capital, attracted the attention of many visitors.
The musicians of the Central Military Orchestra delighted them with songs from the war years. The soloists and vocal groups of the Central Ensemble performed the compositions "Aliya", "Zhuravli", "Tuchi v golubom", "Ehal ya iz Berlina", "Kesteli oramal", "Sauyt", "Kaysar armiya", "Korganysym - tiregim" and "Zhasa kazagym".
Along with professional artists, the center also featured the soldiers of the creative platoon of the National Military-Patriotic Center of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- I am glad to participate in the concert dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory. I got into the creative platoon thanks to the specialty I received at the pedagogical college of Taraz. Service in the creative platoon allows me not to lose the skills of playing wind instruments that I learned in college, - said soldier Meirambek Zharylkasyn.
The soloists of the Central Ensemble of the National Military-Patriotic Center performed classical and modern works. Popular melodies, marches and jazz pieces delighted the audience.
- Today is a wonderful day, you can say that it is three holidays at once: the holy month of Ramadan, Kazakhstanis celebrate Thanksgiving Day, and the long-awaited spring has come. Thank you to the military for the festive atmosphere and bright emotions, - said Saule Kasymova.
On the central square, employees of the Military History Museum of the National Military-Patriotic Center of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan opened a traveling exhibition "Kazakhstan during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945".
The exhibits included personal belongings, archival documents, unique photographs of war heroes Bauyrzhan Momyshuly, Talgat Bigeldinov, Sagadat Nurmagambetov, Tleugali Abdibekov and Khiuaz Dospanova, as well as shells and soldiers' medallions found at the battlefields.
– For the third week, the creative team of the National Military-Patriotic Center has been giving concerts to residents and guests of the capital. We performed at the "Asia Park" and "Khan Shatyr" shopping and entertainment centers. Today, here at MEGA Silk Way. With our concert, we wanted to remind our compatriots of the heroism of Kazakhstani soldiers on the path to victory and congratulate them on Thanksgiving Day, - concluded Senior Lieutenant Azamat Aktasov, Deputy Head of the National Military-Patriotic Center of the Armed Forces.
