On February 27, at the request of the Akim of Mangystau region, a delegation led by the First Deputy Akim of the region, Erbol Izbergenov, and the Deputy Akim of the region, Abbat Orisbayev, met with the leadership of Turkey's largest tourism organization, TURSAB (Association of Turkish Travel Agencies).
TURSAB is an association that unites more than 15 thousand travel agencies in Turkey. It contributes to the development of the tourism industry in the country and has established close ties with international travel companies.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of increasing the tourism potential of Mangystau, attracting foreign tourists, and developing bilateral cooperation. TURSAB President Firuz Baglykaya noted the uniqueness of the natural landscape and historical sites of Mangystau and expressed the readiness of Turkish tourism companies to actively work in this direction.
Also, during the visit, the Mangystau delegation met with representatives of Turkey's leading tour operators - "Pronto Tour", "Kartaca Tour" and "Luda ​​Travel".
"Pronto Tour" is one of the largest tour operators in Turkey. It organizes tours to more than 100 countries and serves about 100 thousand people annually. The tour operator has extensive experience in international destinations.
During a meeting with Fatih Gunay, General Director of another large Turkish tour operator, "Kartaca Tour", the opportunities for developing historical and cultural tourism in Mangystau were discussed. "Kartaca Tour" is a reputable travel company with offices in several countries of the world. It organizes VIP tourism, exclusive tours, cultural and historical trips and business tours. Fatih Gunay said that the company is interested in establishing partnerships with Kazakhstan and is ready to develop special tourist packages in the Mangystau direction.
In addition, the delegation also met with representatives of the dynamically developing tour operator "Luda ​​Travel" in Turkey. This company is distinguished by developing popular destinations for Turkish and foreign tourists, providing affordable and high-quality tourist services.
During the meetings, the First Deputy Akim of Mangystau region Erbol Izbergenov noted the rapid development of the tourism industry in the region and stressed the importance of establishing partnerships with experienced tour operators.
- Mangystau is a region with a unique natural landscape and rich historical heritage. Our goal is to promote our region internationally and show the potential of Mangystau to tourists from around the world. Working together with experienced tourist companies in this direction is an important step. We will raise regional tourism to a new level by providing quality services to our attractions such as Bozzhyra and Airakty, - said Erbol Izbergenov.
The parties signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
In addition, the regional delegation held negotiations with the management of Turkish Airlines. Turkish Airlines is one of the largest air carriers in the world, currently operating flights to more than 120 countries. The company provides regular air services with Kazakhstan on several routes. The parties discussed the issues of opening new air routes, expanding the capabilities of Aktau International Airport, and creating convenient logistics for tourists in order to develop the tourism potential of Mangystau.
Deputy Akim of the region Abbat Orisbayev specially invited the heads of tourism and airline companies to the international event "Aktau - the Capital of the Turkic World" to be held in Aktau this year.
