Today, the regional akim Gauez Nurmukhambetov met with the residents of Petropavlovsk. At the meeting, about thirty city residents raised pressing issues, and specific answers were given to them. The meeting discussed the development plan for the regional center. The work that began last year will be accelerated. Significant funds are being allocated for the improvement of the city, infrastructure, repair of roads and courtyards, as well as for providing housing. Priority areas:
1️⃣ Improvement of flood-affected areas. 2,000 trees will be planted in this area, 74 squares, children's and sports grounds, small architectural forms and walking paths will be built and illuminated.
2️⃣ Repair of city streets will continue. The average repair will cover 45 streets, 42 of which did not have asphalt before. The task for the next three years is to pave all streets with asphalt.
3️⃣ Comprehensive improvement of courtyards. 50 courtyards will be renovated in 15 blocks. I would like to note that currently 254 courtyards still need renovation.
4️⃣ Renovation of the main one in the city center - Kazakhstan Constitution Street. In the spring, work will begin on creating a pedestrian-friendly space, making this street more convenient for residents and guests.
5️⃣ Shelter. In Petropavlovsk, 7 budget and 13 commercial multi-storey buildings will be built in Zhas Orken, Kopay, Bereke, Orman and Tsentr. 110 apartments will be purchased for socially vulnerable groups. Last year, 169 apartments were purchased for this category. The "Kyzylzhar Youth" housing program aimed at supporting young people will be launched.
6️⃣Development of the social sphere. A kindergarten for 280 places will be built in Zhas Orken. Also, the construction of the Republican Educational Center "Urker-Sirius" will begin.
7️⃣Healthcare. It is planned to build a new building for the emergency room in accordance with modern standards. Major repairs and the purchase of new equipment in medical institutions will continue.
8️⃣ New sports facilities will be built in the city. Construction of an ice palace has begun in Zhas Orken, which will include an ice arena, swimming pool and gyms. The modernization of the "Karasai" stadium is being completed.
"During the meeting, residents raised important issues and proposals for the development of the city of Petropavlovsk. All comments will be included in the city's development plan and implemented," the head of the region noted.
