In Shymkent, it is planned to carry out major repairs of 14 kindergartens in 2025-2027. Today, design and estimate documents for 4 kindergartens have been prepared, and work is underway to prepare relevant documents for 9 more kindergartens.

In particular, this year, the necessary funds were allocated for the external improvement of kindergarten No. 97, and a request was sent for funds to modernize kindergarten No. 122. Kindergarten No. 97 "Akmaral" is located in the Kunshgyguz microdistrict of Shymkent. The educational institution for 280 places was built in 1983. The last major renovation was in 2015.

Kindergarten No. 122 "Ak Kogershin" is located in Turlan microdistrict. Currently, 320 children are being educated in the institution, which is designed for 385 places. The institution was last renovated in 2013.
The planned renovation work is aimed at improving the infrastructure of kindergartens, creating a safe, comfortable and modern educational environment for children.

It should be noted that currently there are 625 kindergartens operating in Shymkent. 71 of them are state-owned, 554 are private. A total of 78,628 children are studying in these institutions.
