Today, the North Kazakhstan region celebrated Nauryz on a grand scale. Mass celebrations, which became the culmination of the 10-day Nauryznama, took place on the main square of the regional center.

Akim of the North Kazakhstan region Gauez Nurmukhambetov congratulated the people of North Kazakhstan on the New Year, wishing them happiness, well-being and prosperity. The national holiday was decorated with themed yurts, where residents and guests could get acquainted with the traditions and culture of the Kazakh people.

The head of the region visited various festive sites and yurts dedicated to the work of artisans, as well as the anniversaries of outstanding personalities such as Sabit Mukanov, Shokan Ualikhanov and Smagul Saduakasov. The culture and way of life of nomads were presented in the ethno-village "Koshpendiler Alemi". An interactive area and a sports zone with national games were organized for children.

The yurt next to the Independence Stele was dedicated to the colleges of the region, which demonstrated their achievements and technologies, and also talked about the training of qualified specialists within the framework of the "Year of Working Professions".

In addition, the Regional Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and the Creative Industry Center "Kyzylzhar" presented their creativity along Konstitutsii Street.

"Nauryz meiramy has become an important event that united thousands of North Kazakhstanis and became a symbol of friendship and unity. Happy holiday!", the head of the region wrote on social networks.
