KazAID and FAO discuss locust control measures

27 March 2025, Astana - KazAID's office hosted a meeting with experts from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) who arrived as part of a regional mission for the locust control programme in the Caucasus and Central Asia.

The discussion touched on current challenges, priority needs in locust control as well as awareness raising and partnerships.

KazAID confirmed its readiness to promote regional initiatives aimed at food security and sustainable agricultural development.

The meeting was attended by leading FAO specialists from Kazakhstan, Rome and the regional office.
