A solemn event dedicated to the Republic Day was held at the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Within the framework of the event, employees of the Ministry were awarded for their outstanding contribution to the development of the industry.

First Vice-Minister of Trade Aizhan Bizhanova addressed the staff with a welcoming speech:
"On behalf of the Ministry of Trade and Integration and on my own behalf, let me congratulate you on Republic Day!
Each of you has contributed to the achievements of the industry. Despite global challenges, Kazakhstan's trade continues to show positive results. In 2023, 36% of business entities are involved in trade, and the sector provides employment for 1.5 million people.
Trade remains a key driver of the economy. Its contribution to GDP ranks second and has grown by 28% over the past year. According to the results of 9 months of 2024, the index of physical volume of trade increased by 6.3%.
We have ambitious tasks ahead, including the implementation of the National Development Plan until 2029."
The event ended with the presentation of awards to employees who have made a significant contribution to the development of the trade sector.
