Guardsmen Honored Boxer Nazym Kyzaibai

Servicemen of military unit 5571 of the National Guard, named after Hero of the Soviet Union, Guard Colonel Baurzhan Momyshuly, paid tribute to three-time world boxing champion and bronze medalist of the Paris Olympic Games, Nazym Kyzaibai.

Corporal Nazym Kyzaibai has been serving in the National Guard since 2014. She is a senior specialist at the National Guard Sports Team Training Center under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Recently, the athlete made history once again in Kazakhstani boxing by securing another victory at the World Boxing Championship held in Niš, Serbia. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev personally congratulated her on this remarkable achievement. Additionally, her comrades-in-arms honored her success.

During the solemn ceremony, the Commander of the "Ońtústik" Regional Command, Talapker Amireev, presented the servicemember with a letter of appreciation, a bouquet of flowers, and commemorative gifts. He emphasized that Nazym Kyzaibai proudly represents both the country and the law enforcement forces in international competitions.

The champion expressed her gratitude to the soldiers and officers for their support and kind words.

"Today's meeting with the servicemen was very special. The National Guard has always supported me, and I deeply appreciate this. It is a great honor and motivation for me. I feel immense pride in being part of this strong and united team. In the future, I will do my best to bring new victories and represent our country with dignity on the international stage," said Nazym Kyzaibai.

Nazym Abaykyzy left a commemorative note in the unit's guest book and took a group photo with the servicemen.

It is worth noting that Nazym Kyzaibai had previously won World Championship titles in 2014 and 2016.
