Requirements for participants of the contest Citizens who meet the requirements established by the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Judicial System and Status of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan" are allowed to participate in the competition:

- for chairmen of judicial boards of regional and equivalent courts – paragraph 4 of Article 30;

- for judges of regional and equivalent courts – paragraph 4 of Article 29.

The list of documents for participation in the competition must be sent to the Supreme Judicial Council (download). When submitting documents, the documents also must be attached on electronic carrier (scanned versions of the submitting documents, on a disk or flash card).

All submitted documents must contain up–to-date information, have a signature and a date of compilation or approval, if necessary, a registration number and date.

If the information of the contest participant has changed after he submitted the documents, he must provide updated information to the office of the Supreme Judicial Council within one day (information about receiving penalties, changing the position, bringing to criminal responsibility, including close relatives, etc.).

In accordance with paragraph 7 of the Article 29 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Judicial System and the Status of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan", participation in a competition for a vacant judicial position is not allowed for: 1) a judge, if less than one year has passed since the date of lifting from him the disciplinary penalty provided by subitems 2) and 4) of paragraph 1 of the Article 40 of the Constitutional Law.; 2) a judge, if from the date of the decision made against him by the Commission on the Quality of Justice provided by the subparagraph 4) paragraph 1 of the Article 44 of the Constitutional Law, less than two years have passed; 3) a judge who has served in his position for less than two years; 4) a member of the Supreme Judicial Council.

Deadlines for submission of documents The documents must be submitted by April 15, 2025, at the address: 010000, Astana, Mangilik El ave. 8, House of Ministries, entrance No. 1B, Supreme Judicial Council.

In case of improper or incomplete documents package candidates are not allowed to participate in the competition and the documents are returned.
