As part of the republican environmental program "Taza Kazakhstan", work was carried out in the city and settlements of the region on sanitary cleaning, improvement and landscaping of territories. Volunteers, public figures and employees of enterprises took part in the clean-up day. Squares, parks, historical cultural monuments, industrial and social facilities were cleared of garbage, 9560 willow seedlings were planted. More than 3,300 tons of garbage were removed.
