Land resources are the key to the region's prosperity: Akmola region celebrated the Day of Land Management, Geodesy and Cartography

A solemn meeting dedicated to the Day of Land Management, Geodesy and Cartography was held in Kokshetau today, where government officials and industry professionals discussed key issues of land management and awarded the best employees for achievements in this important area.
The festive event was opened by Deputy Akim of Akmola region Murat Balpan, who noted the importance of effective land management for sustainable economic growth and improving the standard of living of the population. The main report was delivered by the head of the regional Department of Agriculture and Land Relations Nurbek Badyrakov.
"Kazakhstan ranks ninth in the world in terms of area and has unique natural resources that require proper management. In 2024, we managed to involve 14 thousand hectares of land in agricultural turnover and replenish the regional budget by 433 million tenge thanks to land auctions," N.B. Badyrakov emphasized.
The speaker also noted the return of 105,000 hectares of unused land to the state and the provision of over 40,000 public services to the population. These results, according to him, became possible due to the high professionalism and responsibility of the staff of the land management service.
The Deputy Akim highly appreciated the contribution of industry workers to the development of the region and presented the most distinguished employees with honorary diplomas of the Committee on Land Management of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Among the awardees are experienced specialists with 20 years of experience: Elvira Abdrakhmanova, Rustem Tokenov, Gulzhan Zhatayeva.
The badges of the akim of the region "Enbek Ozatty" of the first and second degrees were awarded to specialists and managers with more than 10-15 years of experience, such as Zhumazhan Beisembayeva, Inesh Karashina, Aslan Taymassov, Gulim Kazhkenova, Nurgali Aubakirov, Zhadra Abylkasymova, Nurbol Kabdinov, Asset Kasymzhanov.
In addition, 16 employees were awarded letters of thanks from the Akim of Akmola region for their significant contribution to the development of the land sector.
"Today's awards are recognition of your important work. The development of our rural areas and the economic growth of the entire region depend on the quality of your work. You have all the necessary mechanisms and powers in your hands to successfully complete the tasks," the deputy akim emphasized.
At the end of the meeting, Murat Balpan wished the participants professional growth, family well-being and further success in their responsible activities.
