As part of the program on enhancing the prestige of the judicial profession and for attracting representatives of the legal community to the judicial system, the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a series of online meetings with the notary community.

The events were attended by the members of the Council: S. Amirtaev, O. Tsai, A. Aituarova, G. Sharov, N. Sisenova, Zh. Mirzaliev, as well as representatives of the Academy of Justice under the Council, the Republican and territorial Notary Chambers.

In two months more than 3,000 notaries had the opportunity to be familiarized with the activities of the Council, the requirements for judicial candidates and the selection process. Special attention is paid to the issues of openness and accessibility of the judicial system, as well as the importance of professionalism in the judicial corps.

The main purpose of the meetings, organized by the Council, is to increase interest in the judicial profession and to attract qualified and experienced lawyers from among notaries to this profession.

The Supreme Judicial Council conducts systematic cooperation with the notary community — its representative is a member of the Qualification Commission under the Supreme Judicial Council.

Under the chairmanship of Dmitriy Malakhov, the work on attracting qualified lawyers to the judicial field and increasing the image of the judicial profession by bringing together representatives of various legal specialties is ongoing.
