The President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that wearing national clothes is a vivid reflection of our culture and an important element of preserving national identity.

The Head of the State stressed that the traditional Kazakh style should be a part of our daily life, not just a festive wardrobe. In this regard, by the initiative of the Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council Dmitriy Malakhov, it was decided to strengthen further national values, including promoting the popularization of wearing national clothes. In particular, every fifth day of the week (Friday) is declared as a Kazakh style day.

This initiative is aimed at preserving cultural traditions and promoting the strengthening of the patriotic spirit among the staff of the Council. There is a trace of history in the patterns and fabrics, and the National Dress will preserve this light.
