Later, the organization of illegal lottery games on social networks has become more frequent. This forces citizens to buy dubious tickets, services and items.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Financial Monitoring Agency conducted monitoring on social networks and identified those who organized illegal lotteries. As a result, since February 2024, 106 people have been held administratively liable and paid a fine of 46 million tenge.

We remind you that according to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Lotteries and Lottery Services", people who are not lottery operators or their agents are prohibited from conducting lotteries. According to Article 445-1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses on the illegal organization of lottery activities, responsibility for such actions is provided. If an unauthorized lottery is organized, according to the law, a fine of 100 to 2,000 MCI will be imposed, and the income will be confiscated.

The Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan urges citizens not to organize and participate in illegal lotteries on social networks.
