According to the plan of the developers, the sports city will be located next to the hippodrome “Kulager”. Large competitions can be organized in the athletics track that meets all requirements of the International Association of Athletics. In the covered football arena, there is a full-size field. One more – a mini-football field will be located on the roof of the training center of Olympic reserve.

“KazEdemStroyGroup” LP is ready to implement the project. The cost of three above-mentioned facilities will be KZ 6.5 bln. It is planned that akimat and contracting organization will conclude the agreement. According to it, the budget will return money to the building owner within 3-4 years.

“It is planned to give construction documents of the athletics track and Olympic training center for examination in mid-December, football arena – in January next year.  If you start building in March 2018, you can finish construction of three facilities by the end of next year”, the director of “KazEdemStroyGroup” Alimzhan Ismailov said.

“It will be better, if we get new sports facilities in June 2019. It is necessary to explore the issue of access to the sports city, namely public transport access”, he noted.
