September 6 this year. in the framework of the implementation of the Action Plan of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Combating Corruption for 2018, the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service and Anti-Corruption Affairs held a seminar-meeting with the participation of ethics commissioners and staff of the territorial departments of the Committee on Statistics on Compliance with the Code of Ethics for Civil Servants of the Republic Kazakhstan, legislation on public service and anti-corruption.

This meeting was held in a videoconferencing mode, during which the ethics commissioners of the territorial departments of the Committee on Statistics were able to ask questions and get answers.

The seminar-meeting was also attended by the Ethics Officer of the Ministry of National Economy, Akylbek Saribayevich Urazgulov, the deputy director of the public service control department of the Agency for Civil Service and Anti-Corruption Affairs, Madina Dudovna Nauryzbek.

According to the analysis of the activity of the ethics commissioners of the territorial departments of the Committee on Statistics for 8 months of this year. consultations were given to 106 civil servants and citizens on the issues of compliance with the requirements of legislation in the areas of civil service, combating corruption and the Code of Ethics, and 110 events were held to raise awareness.

In addition, according to the Committee on Statistics ethics commissioners anonymous questionnaire covered 2,346 civil servants, according to which it was revealed that civil servants in general are satisfied with the moral and psychological situation in the team.

As a result of the workshop, the ethics commissioner made recommendations on the adoption of measures aimed at protecting and restoring the violated rights and legitimate interests of public servants and organizing awareness-raising events.
