The traditional Field Day was celebrated in Aktogay area. The largest peasant farms of the region organized the agricultural exhibition in “Aktogay-Agro” LP.

Agrarians saw the agricultural equipment, produced by the most popular manufacturers – “Rostselmash”, “Kirovets”, “John Deere” and others. Akim of Pavlodar region Bulat Bakauov, who also visited the exhibition, said that peasant farms purchased new machineries and the state helped them in it.

“Today our farmers have the choice. We support agrarians in the issue of engineering communications. For example, the fields of “Aktogay-Agro” LP will have necessary infrastructure for irrigation. It allows the enterprise to increase irrigated areas up to 2.5 th he and open a dairy farm for 1200 heads”, the head of the region noted.

In the exhibition, the head of “Aktogay-Agro” LP showed new potato and corn varieties, grown on the fields of the enterprise. Today, farmers grow not only the Dutch varieties, but also Kazakh ones. At the same time, farmers pay attention to cultivation of the hybrid varieties of corn.

“Not so long ago, our region could not grow corn, because of its long vegetation period. Today we have the hybrid varieties of corn. Last year, we provided “Pobeda” LP with it and this year we will prepare it for our own needs”, the head of the farm Igor Golovashov said.

In the exhibitions people could also see the preparations for weed control, biological fertilizers, special agricultural equipment, hydraulic hoses and much more. As it turned out, all these are produced in Pavlodar region.
