The issue of the implementation of the main directions of the development, written in the strategy of the region until 2030 was considered in akimat of Pavlodar region. Bulat Bakauov noted that the perspective development of any region depended on the good economic policy.

“In December I charged to develop a comprehensive plan of the region for 3 years and for each area separately. Today we should understand what we have done within the comprehensive plan”, the head of the region said.

The head of the Department of Economy and Budget Planning Maksat Turlubayev reported on the implementation of the plan.

“The Strategy of the development of Pavlodar region until 2030 has been implementing in the region since 2015. 8 institutions and organizations were created within the Strategy: investment attraction agency, investor council (club “business of angels”), regional StartUp Academy in PSU of S.Toraigyrov, regional scientific and technological center in IUE, business accelerator and regional center for commercialization of the technologies, center of competence for environmental technologies and medical heart center. In addition, 5 concepts, 21 plans, sketch of the project “Smart stop”, project of technical specification for the development of design estimates for construction of new houses in the microdistrict “Dostyk”, tourist passports of the cities and areas of the region have been developed”, he said.

“The Strategy should improve the quality of people’s life.  The comprehensive plans should include the construction of the houses, ecopost, smart stops, lightning and beautification of the yards, intellectual transport system and provision with kindergartens. Investments in Pavlodar city were increased in 1.7 times. Almost KZ 3 bln were allocated for the roads and landscaping. We must provide the comfortable life for population”, the head of the region noted.

Also Bulat Bakauov made the comment for the development of the tourist cluster. In his opinion, it is only the start – beatification of the Jasybay Lake, Maraldy Lake. There are no the tourist passports. Taxi in the regional center leaves a lot to be desired.

In order to update plan of the implementation of the Strategy the Department of Economy and Budget Planning of the region and regional departments should develop the new project of the comprehensive plan of the development of Pavlodar region for 3 years.  The head of the region entrusted to finalize the comprehensive plan by August 1, 2017.
