Akim of Pavlodar region congratulated veterans on the forthcoming Victory Day. Bulat Bakauov visited eight veterans and talked with them.

In the house of 92-year-old Gabdulla Musinov there were many guests. The granddaughter Assel and two-year-old great-granddaughter Kloi-Maria arrived from Hong Kong.

«We try to come to the grandfather in May to the Victory Day. My daughter has seen the great-grandfather for the first time. She likes to play with him», Assel Lus said.

Meanwhile, the other veteran, Ivan Lukin prepared the treat for Bulat Bakauov. The spouse of the war veteran Maria Fedorovna traditionally baked pies.

«Thank you very much for your visit, you always remember old people. We do not want anything, only your attention», Ivan Lukin noted.

On the eve of the Victory Day the head of the region paid a visit to six more front-line soldiers: Bilyal Sabitov, Soltanbek Baizbayev, Anuarbek Khusainov, Viktor Zhuravlev, Nikolay Egorenkov and Mikhail Kungurov.

“I visit our veterans not only on the eve of the Victory Day but during the year. We should be very grateful to you for peace and harmony”, akim of the region added.
