The solemn meeting gathered about 80 workers of the pen and microphone. Among them were veterans of journalism, employees of district, city and regional media, as well as their own correspondents of the Republican media. Turning to the heroes of the occasion, Bulat Department of physical recalled that just this week approved the government decision on the approval of the day of workers of mass media, which has isolated the professional holiday of journalists.

– This suggests that your role in Kazakhstan’s society is very great, – said the head of the region. – Politicians deal with the future, historians – the past, and journalists – the present. As Charles de Gaulle said, “gentlemen of the press, I read your Newspapers to know what I think.”

On behalf of the Governor of the region journalists were awarded diplomas, letters of thanks and grants.
