Special attention is paid to the spheres of security, health and education. So, in Almaty more than 100 thousand cameras on roads, in yards, schools, shopping mall are installed. Optimization of premises in existing state pre-school organizations gave an additional 1200 places. Thus, pre-school education currently covers 81.2% of children, almost at the level of OECD countries (84%). In addition, over the last two years, the City Planning Council decided to invest 54 kindergartens for 7,000 places at the expense of investors, which saved about 14 billions tenge of budget funds. The improvement of the environment directly depends on the solution of transportation problems. So, more than 700 thousand cars are moving daily in Almaty. Transportation accounts for almost 80% of emissions to the atmosphere, so the priority is the development of public transport. The construction of two metro stations is continuing, next year, according to the PPP principle, construction of LRT is planned. Now the public transport fleet of the city is 1.4 thousand units, 60% of which are gas-powered buses and trolley buses.
