The Vice-Minister of Economic Development of Italy noted the great interest of Italian companies in the implementation of projects related to the processing of solid household waste, the modernization of housing and communal services, construction and a number of other areas within the framework of the Smart City project.

In turn, Almaty’s governor noted that Italian companies have great experience in the field of engineering, development of renewable energy sources, production of equipment for light and food industries, paying special attention to the fact that localization of production in Almaty, foreign companies will be provided with all kinds of support on the principle of " one window ".

During the meeting, Bauyrzhan Baibek invited Italian companies to take part in the international forum "Almaty Invest", which will be held in October this year.
