Vice Minister of Labor Nurzhan Altayev spoke about the main indicators of the labor market in Mangistau region

Special attention was paid to the issues of employment, the introduction of a system of MSHI, vocational training and employment of young people.
Vice-Minister of labor and social protection of population of Kazakhstan Nurzhan Altaev made a report on the assessment of the Road map on the flow of labor resources, the tasks of the region on productive employment, training for the new economy and labor mobility.
According to the Vice-Minister, since 2001 the number of workers has doubled: from 146 to 292 thousand people. The number of employed increased from 131 to 277 thousand people. The share of the self-employed population decreased from 24 to 6%. "The Mangystau region is one of the five labor-surplus regions, from which resettlement to labor-deficit areas is carried out. This year, the number of migrations has more than doubled. In addition, it is planned to relocate 2,328 families (9,4 thousand people)" - said Nurzhan Altaev.
At the same time, the Vice-Minister of the relevant Department called the educational composition of the employed region unique, and all because 72% of the employed in the region have technical and professional education. And this level is the highest among all regions (37% of Kazakhstan).At the same time, personnel with higher education of the region make up 26% of employees (39% of Kazakhstan). Personnel with school education make up 2% (23% of Kazakhstan). These are the minimum levels for all the region.
In General, in the Mangystau region 3.3 billion tenge is provided for the Implementation of the program of development of productive employment.
As of today, 7.6 thousand people have become its participants. Employed about 7,5 thousand persons, of them in permanent jobs - 3,7 thousand people (49,3%).
In order to implement the fourth social initiative of the Head of state, the Mangystau region allocated an additional 1.3 billion tenge (total 2.0 billion tenge) to expand microcredit in rural areas and cities. In total, it is necessary to cover at least 422 people.
During his speech, Vice-Minister N. Altaev noted the importance of updating the status of citizens.
Thus, at the beginning of the year, the analysis of information systems revealed 72.5 thousand persons who are not available in databases. To date, the status of 24 thousand people (33%) has been updated."However, in the region there are still 39.8 thousand people without status. Therefore, it is important for akimats to actively work on their actualization and involvement in the program of productive employment", - concluded Nurzhan Altaev.
