Minister of labor and social protection of population of RK Berdibek Saparbayev, on Tuesday, April 2, held a meeting with Head of the UN children's fund representative office (UNICEF) in Kazakhstan Yuri Oksamitnyi.

The parties discussed prospects of cooperation and expressed readiness for further cooperation.

Welcoming the Head of the representative office of the international organization, Berdibek Saparbayev expressed gratitude for the support and assistance provided by UNICEF in the implementation of social programs.

"We support the activities of the Ministry to strengthen the measures of state assistance to families with children, and are ready to continue working in this direction for the effective implementation of the tasks of modernization of address social assistance. This is our common priority", - said in turn Y.Oksamitnyi.

Representative of UNICEF proposed the development of a strategic policy document with a vision for the integrated development of social support for children.

"There will be support from our side, especially with regard to the development of the strategic document. We are ready for mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of the instructions of Elbasy to improve the quality of life of citizens of Kazakhstan, including children and large families", B. Saparbayev assured.
