On April 10, 2017, a seminar on "Improving the professional skills of specialists in the field of technical regulation, metrology and management systems" was launched as part of the State Program for Industrial and Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2015-2019 (Approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 874 of August 1, 2014) And the Comprehensive Plan for the Improvement of Technical Regulation Systems.

The seminar will last 3 days. The event is organized by the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the MIR RK and the "Kazakhstan Institute for Standardization and Certification".

In the light of active integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union and accession to the World Trade Organization, there is a need to upgrade the skills of workers at various levels (from ordinary specialists to engineers and managers), industrial organizations of Kazakhstan in the field of technical regulation, metrology and management systems in accordance with Requirements of international standards.

93 specialists of agrochemical branches (48 specialists) and food industry (45 specialists) are improving their qualification at the seminar.

The same seminars were held in 2015 and 2016, more than 180 specialists of the oil and gas industry and chemistry were trained.

The holding of such seminars will lead to the stimulation of domestic large, medium and small businesses for the introduction and certification of management systems in accordance with international standards, as well as the application and implementation of the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Community, the functioning of which will enable the Kazakhstan business environment to occupy its economic niche in the global market.

Taking into account the importance of the project, leading experts of the priority sectors of industry, co-developers of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union and the Republic of Kazakhstan and experts in the field of audit will deliver expert lectures.

The opening of the seminar was attended by the director of the department of technical regulation and metrology in the Kyzylorda region - Ernan Bozkulanovich Keulimzhayev.
