Thus, on the fact of fraud, a criminal case against the chairman of the Housing and Communal Services complex "Zhilishche" was sent to court by the regional prosecutor's office on April 2.

75 affected shareholders invested more than 421 million tenge in the construction of an apartment building.

However, the company has not built 2 houses in Aktobe.

There are only 11 problematic shared-equity construction facilities in the region, for which 745 victims, and the total damage amounts to 5.6 billion tenge.

Last year, the heads of 5 construction companies were brought to criminal responsibility for 8 facilities and sentenced to 6 years.

The regional Prosecutor's Office has filed 2 civil lawsuits in the interests of 159 shareholders to invalidate purchase and sale agreements, recover 2 billion tenge from the developer in favor of the victims and transfer property, and 6 more lawsuits are being prepared in the interests of 600 more shareholders," said regional Prosecutor Marat Abishev.

All problematic objects for shareholders are under the control of the regional prosecutor's office.

The prosecutor's office urges citizens to demand all permits from developers, for example:

• the guarantee of an authorized operator;
• participation of the second-tier bank in the project;
• full readiness for the construction of an apartment building.
