Kazakhstan has introduced a temporary ban for 6 months from April 9, 2025 on the import of chicken eggs (commodity nomenclature code for foreign economic activity of the Eurasian Economic Union: 040721) into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan by all means of transport from third countries and from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. The ban does not apply to the transit of eggs through the territory of Kazakhstan, as well as their movement from the territory of one member state of the Eurasian Economic Union to the territory of another EAEU member State through the territory of our country. A temporary ban on the import of chicken eggs was introduced in order to support domestic producers in the spring and summer period.
