On November 21, 2019, the mayor of Kostanay city Akhmetov K. Zh. held a personal reception of citizens within the framework of the Unified national day of reception of citizens, in order to support the idea of the Head of State "hearing the state", to be closer to the people.

A total of 107 people were registered, 95 of them were registered. Due to the large number of people who signed up, a convenient waiting room was organized with watching various social videos, hot tea with baursaks.

During the reception, various issues were considered, where the first heads of all services of the city were present. Citizens were given explanations and legal advice. The relevant services were instructed to deal with issues that required additional time. Citizens were concerned about land plots, street lighting, road construction, passenger transport and housing relations.
