On January 11, 2019, on the basis of the Mangystau College of Tourism, the Department of Education of the Mangystau Region held a regional seminar-workshop on the theme “of presentation and dissemination of advanced pedagogical experience” (Best Teaching Practice). The purpose of the seminar-workshop: “The welfare of Kazakhstanis: improving the quality of life and living” The development of technical and vocational education in the framework of the President’s message to the people, raising the status of the teaching profession and to share the experience of teachers who work creatively and have a high degree of professionalism, opinion exchange and dissemination of best practices.

The workshop was attended by the teaching and methodological office of technical and vocational education of the Mangystau region, deputy director of educational institutions of technical and vocational education and methodologists of colleges. Requirements and criteria for the contest "The best teacher"( K.Djantekeeva, Deputy director of the teaching and methodological office of technical and vocational education of the Mangystau region), the method of preparation of the portfolio "The best specialist - the best teacher" ( R. Dybysova, Deputy Director for educational and methodical work of the Mangystau Industrial and Technical College named after O. Turmaganbetuly), the sharing of experience on the procedure of protection at the national level on "The best teacher-2018" (F. Salkynbaeva, a subject teacher of the Mangystau Industrial and Technical College named after O. Turmaganbetuly, holder of the title “The Best Teacher-2018”, Rules of certification of the teacher " (R. Utegenova, a Methodist ot the teaching and methodological office of technical and vocational education of the Mangystau region) were discussed in the workshop.

During the meeting, methodologists were provided with methodological assistance in developing the portfolio “The Best Teacher” and in writing an essay. An exchange of experience, a brief overview of the work done, suggestions on problematic issues, ways to solve them and the necessary recommendations were held.
