The unification of the regional cardiological center with the city hospital No. 3 will in no way affect what operations the doctors will carry out. This was said by and. about. Ardak Kuzekov, Head of the Health Department of Pavlodar Region, during a special press conference on reorganization of medical institutions.

We will remind, in the regional health care it was decided to merge the cardiocenter and the city hospital №3. Firstly, the legislation requires it - there is an appropriate government decree, as well as an order from the Ministry of Health, requiring the transition to the creation of multidisciplinary centers where inpatient, inpatient replacement and consultative and diagnostic assistance will be collected under the roof of one organization. Secondly, reorganization is also necessary to improve the medical care of patients after vascular lesions of the brain.

- In the Pavlodar region, the mortality rate due to strokes is growing, - said and. about. Heads of the Health Department. - According to the results of 9 months, a stroke caused the death of more than 440 people, which is higher than last year by 10-15%. Three stroke centers were created. One of them is located on the basis of the city hospital No. 3, but there is no modern magnetic resonance imager, cardiograph, or high-quality ultrasound machines. Moreover, all this material and technical base is available in the cardiology center. Therefore, the idea arose to relocate this stroke center to a cardiocenter. Thanks to this, a cardiovascular cluster will be finally formed, consisting of a cardiac surgery clinic and a stroke center, a cardiology clinic for patients with acute heart diseases and chronic heart pathologies, as well as a rehabilitation center for patients with cardiovascular pathologies.

Unfortunately, part of the staff of the cardiocenter was unhappy with such an association. The main argument of the opponents of the reorganization was that the center supposedly would lose its high status and its specialists would simply not be allowed to perform complex heart operations. Ardak Kuzekov assured that this would not happen.

“The level of operations performed depends on the available personnel and material base and does not depend on whether the cardiocenter will operate independently or as part of a city hospital,” he said. - High-tech medical services, which include cardiac surgery, are provided at any level. No one says that tomorrow only the simplest operations will be carried out in the center. All types of operations that appeared in the cardiocenter earlier will be provided in the future.

Financing of the cardiological center will remain at the proper level, which, by the way, today has large payables in the amount of 360 million tenge. The staffing structure of the medical institution will not change. The only thing will be reduced the head of the center. However, all top management, which will change its status, will be employed, and collective agreements concluded earlier will be executed in the future.

“Apart from the legal status of two medical institutions, nothing will change,” he summarized. about. heads of regional health. - That is, there were two legal entities, but one will be. In the same way, once the regional maternity hospital became a large structure of the city hospital No. 1, and the perinatal center, infectious diseases and skin and venereology services became part of the regional hospital.
