In August 2026, the Uralsk Probation Service, together with the Uralsk Career Center, organized an event to provide social assistance to convicts registered with the probation service.
During the event, participants were provided with information about employment opportunities, career choices, vocational training and retraining. In addition, for the purpose of social support, the convicts were provided with assistance in the form of free haircuts.
The main purpose of this event is to provide social support to persons registered with the probation service, to facilitate their social adaptation, employment and return to a law-abiding lifestyle.
Such joint activities contribute to the successful re-socialization of convicts and their integration into society.
