In order to improve the quality of life of elderly citizens, strengthen their health and develop their potential, the Active Longevity Center has started its work in Uskemen. On the opening day, a tour of the center was organized for the guests, master classes and a festive concert program were offered.

The center provides various activities: physical training, intellectual exercises, creative circles and social projects. There are craft and applied arts classrooms, art therapy, physical therapy, music classes, and a cozy relaxation area. Every visitor has the opportunity to do what he likes, make new friends and lead an active lifestyle.

The center pays special attention to preservation and promotion of national traditions. For example, classes on felting are held in the craft room.

"For me, felt is a special material with a deep history, which preserves the warmth and soul of our ancestors. "Each product made with love and passion speaks of our roots and connects the past and the present," says craftswoman Yanina Ignatieva.
Chess classes are held in the intellectual department of the center, participants can develop strategic thinking skills and compete in friendly meetings.

"Chess is a game of mind and tactics. I am very grateful to the organizers who offered me such an opportunity and supported me," said Anatoly Vasilevich, who became a chess champion several times.

The mission of the center is to actively involve the elderly in cultural, creative, sports and social life, to make it possible for them to achieve new achievements and experience bright moments.

The event was attended by the mayor of SKO Nurymbet Saktaganov, mayor of Uskemen Almat Akishov, veterans, community activists, media representatives and other guests were also present.
