HOLIDAY FOOD POISONING TIPS
15.04.2025 17:58:14 1560In order to protect yourself and your loved ones from acute intestinal infections and food poisoning during the holidays, we offer the following recommendations:
-do not prepare multi-component salads and other complex dishes for the holiday table: because they are considered a suitable environment for the growth of microbes and viruses;
-pay special attention to the storage period and conditions when buying perishable products (milk, sausage products, ready-made salads, cream-confectionery products) translate;
-wash vegetables and fruits thoroughly with running water;
-do not consume expired or unrefrigerated products;
-carefully boil or fry products, especially meat, poultry, eggs;
-do not mix fresh food with leftovers from the previous day;
-mix salads and other perishable products only before serving, do not prepare large quantities and refrigerate for 12 hours do not over-store;
-store pastry products with cream only in the refrigerator;
-when buying products, pay attention to the labeling - it should be easy to read, the date of manufacture and expiration date should be indicated;
-meat, milk and other animal products should be purchased only in trade places that have undergone veterinary control.
Following the above-mentioned recommendations during the holidays will help preserve the health of residents.
