The Prosecutor General's Office has identified violations committed in the football of Kazakhstan under the leadership of the previous federation
15.04.2025 18:02:49 198As a result of the prosecutor's investigation of the Football Federation of Kazakhstan (hereinafter - the Federation) and several football clubs, inefficiency in management and financial violations in the amount of 3 billion tenge were revealed.
Among the main violations are the payment of unreasonable bonuses, misuse of funds during the construction of infrastructure objects, dubious agreements with athletes and embezzlement of funds allocated for the nutrition of athletes.
In particular, The former management of the Federation paid unreasonable bonuses to individual employees and athletes in the amount of more than 300 million tenge.
Over 350 million tenge were paid for unfulfilled works during the construction of the administrative building of the Federation and the training base in Talgar.
The construction of the base in Almaty region, which started in 2021, is stopped, and the contractor's accounts are blocked.
Also. 135 million tenge is questionable about the appropriate use of the funds allocated for the development of strategic documents and standards.
These documents do not specify specific implementation mechanisms, including ways to attract private investments, and the standard of club management has not been implemented in practice. a number of serious violations, such as embezzlement, were revealed.
Pre-trial investigations have begun. The criminal case against the former heads of the Football Federation was handed over to the Financial Monitoring Agency for investigation.
The Prosecutor General's Office continues to work on ensuring legality and transparency in the field of sports.
