Representative of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Atyrau region Amangeldi Abdolov participated in the meeting of the interdepartmental commission on crime prevention and anti-corruption issues. Heads of the Department of Prevention, Department of the Criminal-Executive System of Atyrau region communicated.
During the meeting, problems related to improvement of crime prevention and social and other assistance to convicts were worked out. On this question, the report of A. Iztileuov, the head of the Department of the Criminal-Executive System of Atyrau Region, was heard.
One of the problems raised here is the employment of people released from prisons. During the meeting, fairs were organized for unemployed convicts under the probation service, to provide them with permanent work, and to raise the quota percentage.
Ombudsman's Representative A. Abdolov highlighted the urgency of this issue and suggested the need to hold a joint special meeting with all state bodies.
At the same time, the commission discussed the agenda of gang fights between teenagers, measures taken to prevent hooliganism, facilities in the region whose construction took a long time, and the effective use of funds allocated to them.
At the end of the meeting, relevant decisions were made on the discussed issues.
