VIII Republican judo tournament in honor of Onalbek Zharylkasyn Kerimbekuly, honored coach, professor, honored citizen of Turkestan, Kentau cities, is being held. The competition is organized among teenage boys and girls born in 2007-2008.

Deputy mayor of the city Nurbol Kokenov, who participated in the opening ceremony of the republican tournament, noted the work of Zharylkasyn Kerimbekuly in the field of sports and wished success to the participants of the competition. 1973-1991 Zharylkasyn Onalbek worked as a senior coach of judo and sambo wrestling in the voluntary sports society "Kairat", director of the children's and youth sports school in Kentau, senior coach of South Kazakhstan regional sambo and Kazakh wrestling, president of the regional "Kazakh wrestling" federation, head of Kentau city sports committee.

In 1991-1996 He served as the head of the physical education department of K.A. Yassaui State Technical University, assistant rector in 1996-1998, dean of the correspondence faculty in 1998-2000, and dean of the sports faculty in 2000-2003. Since 2003, he has been the director of the Kentau Institute of the CISTU. Onalbek Zharylkasyn Kerimbekuly trained many students in his career and became a great teacher.
