The chairman of the fisheries committee visited a number of aquaculture facilities in Atyrau region

In the framework of a working trip to the west of Kazakhstan, Serik Sermagambetov, chairman of the Fisheries Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, visited a number of aquaculture facilities in the Atyrau region.

One of the enterprises visited is "Caspian Sturgeon Limited" LLP. The company invested 600 million tenge and created 20 jobs. The enterprise is engaged in the breeding of species of sturgeon fish and the production of edible black caviar. Up to 3 tons of black caviar and 30 tons of commercial fish are produced annually. The management of the company plans to increase the number of cages for the breeding of sturgeon fish and achieve the maximum indicators of the project capacity. was in "Caspian Royal Fish" LLP, which is actively developing and provides 25 jobs thanks to investments in the amount of tenge. The company produces 1 ton of edible black caviar, 50 tons of commercial fish and about 1 million fish fry. As part of the expansion of fish farming, the enterprise plans to purchase beluga breeding stock and produce fish fry for subsoil users and nature users of Atyrau and Mangistau regions.

During the meetings with the management of the enterprise, issues of state support, introduction of modern technologies and increase of export potential of fish products were discussed. Comrade Sermagambetov emphasized the importance of aquaculture development in Kazakhstan and emphasized the need to expand production capacity to strengthen the fish industry and create new jobs in the region.
