New factories in Kostanay region will allow the region to become the center of automobile manufacturing in the country - Kumar Aksakalov

According to the results of the 11th month of 2024, positive dynamics were observed in the main macroeconomic indicators of Kostanay region. The volume of agriculture increased by 19.4%, construction - by 14.1%, private investments - by 10.7%, trade - by 9.9%, transport - by 5.3%, and commissioning of housing - by 4.1%. The average salary increased by 13.3% and amounted to 329,131 tenge. And within 2 years it increased 1.4 times. 17 thousand jobs were created. Unemployment fell to 4.6%. As noted by the regional head Kumar Aksakalov, the number of families living below the poverty line and receiving special social assistance was reduced from 3,964 to 2,356. As a result, the region ranks second in the Republic of Kazakhstan in terms of the rate of decline in the number of families receiving social welfare.
